Long Bay Hotel is a remote, rambling, Inn like hotel nestled between two beaches. It has been run by the Lafaurie family for over 35 years and consists of just 20 Rooms and 5 Cottages. All rooms are just feet from the water facing east which guarantees beautiful sunrises and constant trade winds.

It's a perfect place to stay if you are looking for personable service, peaceful relaxation, family friendly hosts, tennis, scuba, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, in-shore fishing, ocean kayaks, & more. Snorkeling in the area is good... perfect for the beginner as well as the more advanced adventurer.  If you're feeling energetic you can walk the short distance to Devil's Bridge, a spectacular sight seeing spot on Antigua's North East coast. Tennis players need to bring their own racquets, tennis shoes and balls. 

The Lafauries strive for a laid back experience with emphasis placed on relaxation and personal service.  There are no phones in the rooms or television, air conditioning. No noisy pursuits or organized activities. Your hosts treat you as friends not impersonal tourists and strive to learn your name, your favorite drink etc.

Dinner is predominately a global experience, offering North American, European, and Caribbean flavors.  Lunch is served on the terrace at, The Beach House restaurant offering a wide choice including, Salads, Sandwiches, Burgers, Omelets, Local fish and more.

Richard Widmark was staying at the Long Bay when he visited my home in 1997 and by all accounts he was enjoying his stay.
