Galleon Beach Club

This picturesque hotel nestles in the heart of English Harbour, Antigua's top most historical site. But rather than being in the dockyard itself it is a water taxi ride away on a very nice beach overlooking the harbor entrance. During the yachting season, (November to mid May), the harbor is alive with a myriad of sailing vessels from small livaboards to the multi million dollar playthings of the rich and famous. Eric Clapton owned a home overlooking this hotel, (he now lives a bay or two away). Out of season you will have the harbor to yourselves.

Nearby you will find restaurants, diving, more historical sites and Shirley Heights with it's spectacular view and Sunday afternoon bash.
