Hodges Bay is an up market residential area on Antigua's breezy north west coast. Its a quiet community that snakes along a beautiful coastline and ends at secluded Jabbawok beach. You can take a day trip to Prickley Pear Island about a quarter mile off shore, stay in two hotels, eat in three restaurants or visit an exceptional art gallery run by a Star Wars creature builder!

Jabbawok is a "local" beach where Antiguans swim in the early morning and weekends. This half mile stretch of golden sand has no hotels on it so it's as natural as can be. That means you will find some weed and brush but having a beach like this to yourself makes up for it and snorkeling is good. This is where Antigua's Olympic windsurfers practice and there's often a kiteboarding operator there too
